The way you see your world is a reflection of how you see yourself. Whatever people, things, or life circumstances trigger you reveal where you’re not fully loving yourself.
The best way to love your world is to love yourself. Everything you see outside of you is a mirrored version of your inner world and, therefore, can be easily changed. You don’t have to fix or heal the world before you can experience inner peace.
Ask yourself: Who am I most upset with now, and why are they upsetting me? Triggers are clues to where you’re stuck and could use more loving awareness.
There is great freedom in letting go of blaming other people for your pain and instead redirecting all that energy within yourself.
This freedom comes through the realization that you can only change yourself. If you believe you must change others before you can feel peace and happiness, you’ll feel caged within the confines of something you can’t control.
